Description
Set of 4 Edwardian cast sterling silver figural game bird place card holders. Made by William Hornby in London in 1908. A pheasant, partridge, snipe, and woodcock, each mounted to stepped cylindrical base with cobalt guilloche enamel support. Post clip. In original leather-bound case with fitted velvet; silk lining has retailer’s gilt stamp (Percy Edwards & Co.). Fully marked. Very good condition.
