Description
A beautiful Pietro Chiesa for Fontana Arte jewellery box made in Italy in the early 1940s. Carved from walnut wood, with a beautiful blue mirrored crystal covering the box, finished with ebonized walnut wood handles, this beautiful box is really one of a kind. It is heavy and made to stay, a quality to be expected from Fontana Arte. It has been fully restored, the brown velvet fabric inside that was pretty damaged has been replaced by a black velvet fabric. A collectible piece, perfect as a gift, with a very nice decorative presence, found in a very good vintage condition.
