Description
Ceci n’est pas un vase is a collector’s item, more sculpture than functional object. Its form, sensual and pure, unfolds in bronze curves, without revealing the center, which is revealed only by the cut-out openings. They let in the light, which is caught by the deep gold of the interior. Bronze-finished brass on the outside and gold leaf are in opposition, yet they are one and the same.
Materials: Bronze-finished brass on the outside, gold leaf application on the inside.
