Restauration period gilt and patinated bronze fireplace fender
French, c. 1830
Height 26cm, width 130cm, depth 6cm
This fine antique bronze fireplace fender dates to the French Restauration period, a time famed for its elegance and high quality of design. The patinated bronze frame with twin circular ormolu acanthus scroll surmounts either side joined by the central fender and steel bar above. -
