Description
A true collector's item, this glamorous vintage checkerboard was designed by Italian design maestro Romeo Rega.
- Born in Rome, Rega began his career working primarily in forged iron. In the 1970's, he began to collaborate with Gabriella Crespi and Willy Rizzo, champions of the Modernist Glam aesthetic that remains in vogue today. Rega's material selection then expanded to include brass, lucite, and chrome. His signature pieces are clean-lined with an emphasis on geometric shapes and luxe, polished surfaces.
- Meant to be passed down for generations to come, this stylish set ups the ante for all board games.
- The maker's signature is included in a lower corner.
- This piece is in very good vintage condition, showing minor signs of wear consistent with age and use. All pieces are included. Please see our detailed photos. -
