Duo of vases inspired by medieval metalwork by Bode Willumsen (1895-1987) for Royal Copenhagen, having magnificently executed tan-brown "Sung" glazed stoneware; Denmark, mid-20th century:
Vase with four-sided spear form with spouting neck and mouth and pair of lion handles; 1957, carved artist mark, painted maker marks and "20577 " (9 in. H x 6.5 in. W x 5.5 in. D)
Vase with elongated form, flange lip, handle, and relief depicting St. Mark; 1961, carved artist mark, painted maker marks and "2917" (6.5 in. H x 6.5 in. L x 4 in. W)
