Truly exceptional and monumental vase by Helge Christoffersen (1925-1965) for Royal Copenhagen, having a tapered form encircled in reliefs depicting boars and medieval hunters and a lid with a boar figure in the round, hand-thrown in stoneware with a deeply saturated celadon glaze; Denmark, mid-20th century; painted triple wave and artist mark on both vase and stopper, inscribed "804"
