This elegant Art Deco vase was realized by the esteemed British Studio of Royal Doulton, circa 1930. It features a rounded form with a circular neck in glazed ceramic. The piece has been handpainted with a stylized fruit, apparently peaches or persimmons, in a honeyed amber hue surrounded by repeating leaf motifs in a rich java tone. The neck of the piece has been finished in a speckled off white (the same color as the interior), while the base is a rich chestnut. With its clean modernist lines and sophisticated color palate, this piece is as versatile as it is aesthetically compelling, blending perfectly with any style of interior from classic Art Deco to contemporary. It is signed "Royal Doulton" with the proprietary lion stamp on the base. Excellent vintage condition.
