Signed under lid: Nathaniel Sargent, Lynn. 1823.
Presumably Lynn, Massachusetts.
Pine, painted salmon, green and black.
Excellent condition, original throughout.
This rare signed and dated paint-decorated desk box opens to fitted compartments and retains the original salmon, green and black stylized floral paint decoration. The box has survived in a remarkable state of preservation. -
