Large original panther sculpture from Paris, France circa 1940.
Ceramic mass, polyester lacquer coated and polished.
Polished (lasercut) stainless steel plate under a lacquered oval wooden base.
In the style of Paul Jouve's Panther drawing. Model after Salvatore Melani (1902-1934), who was famous for his animal sculptures.
Two sculptures availabe. -
