Scarce Pair of Rockingham Glazed Spaniels
Possibly New York State, ca. 1860
Pottery, glazed decoration
Over-all in great condition, minor firing cracks, gentle wear and imperfections commensurate with age.
Provenance: Private collection.
It is not only scarce to find as a pair but also rare to find spaniels with coleslaw fur in a red-brown Rockingham glaze. They present very well.
