-
Description
Segoso vetri d'arte rare and exquisite 'Veronese' blown glass vase in cased green-colored glass with gold foil applications, Murano, 1939. This extraordinary vase is classic in form - the widely applied denomination of this vase "veronese" refers to a 16th century painting by Paolo Veronese "Annunciazione" (Galleria dell'Academia, Venice) on which it is reproduced. This model proved immensely popular and was offered by many 20th century Murano glass factories in a variety of techniques. This particular vase with its beautiful gold inclusions is quite rare and magnificent.
