With closed eyes and a gentle expression, this large stone Buddha head brings calm and serenity to its surroundings. The hand-carved figure depicts the historic Buddha Shakyamuni, also known as Shaka, Gautama Buddha, or Prince Siddhartha. Commonly depicted in seated meditation, Shakyamuni embodies the virtues of wisdom and composure and guides others in their journey towards enlightenment. The hand-carved stone sculpture displays the many marks of the Buddha - tightly curled hair, elongated ears, arched eyebrows, and downcast eyes. // Depth: 6.25"
