QUARTZ ON BRONZE BASE
Studio Greytak’s Quartz on bronze base is an electrical combination of two of the earth’s most beautiful elements.
Since antiquity, traditional healers have called quartz the “master healer” because it amplifies the power of other elements nearby and because it can be programmed by focusing intention upon it. This allows one to achieve virtually any goal.
Formed millions of years ago under extreme geologic pressure, quartz crystals often grow together in clusters. But their most amazing feature is their ability to convert mechanical energy into electricity and vice versa.
When you squeeze quartz, it generates an electric charge. When you pass electricity through a crystal, it squeezes itself and vibrates back and forth. This effect, called piezoelectricity from the Greek piezein “to push,” creates a kind of battery with a positive charge on one face and a negative charge on the other. When you press the switch on a gas barbecue, it squeezes a piezoelectric crystal, which generates a voltage and makes the spark that starts the flame. The reverse action is how quartz watches keep such accurate time.
This amazing physical energy translates just as powerfully to the metaphysical world. Clear quartz is a stone of light, providing a clear path for higher vibrations from spiritual realms to the physical world.
Ancient Sumerians used copper- and tin-rich rocks to build campfire rings. As the stones became heated, the metals melted and mixed, forming bronze. This world-changing metal brought tools, weapons, armor, building materials, and a new sense of value to the ancient world. It is often associated with fire because of its reddish color. As an alloy of copper and tin, bronze takes on the properties of both but is generally thought to enhance courage and practicality and encourage focus on work. It is also thought to be good luck for warriors.
This piece will bring healing energy and courage to any room. Place it near other stones, and it will amplify their power as well as strengthen yours.
