Description
A fine and elegant circa 1810 English Regency period cellarette or wine cooler in the style of neoclassical designer Thomas Hope; the solid mahogany case of sarcophagus form having raised plinth form lid with canted corners above a conforming tapering case with applied mouldings centering brass lions-head-and-ring pull on raised lions-paw feet with concealed casters; retains original partial tin liner.
