Description
This exceptional baluster form Tiffany Favrile Glass Paperweight Vase features a motif of large white flowers surrounded by thin, swirling vines and triangular pointed leaves in variegated green, all cased in a thick layer of transparent glass.
The floral decoration appears to float above an amber background characterized by subtle shimmering iridescence, achieved through a process known as fuming in which the interior of the vase was coated with an iridescent finish resulting in a warm golden glow in reflected light.
This fine example of Tiffany Favrile Glass is inscribed on the underside with signature and date code and retains its original paper label.
