Tin toy Circus truck, made by the Ferdinand Strauss Toy Company of New York, around 1930. This toy is made from lithographed tin. It has a lion & trainer inside the cage part of the truck. A clockwork motor operates the truck & when activated & running the trainer cracks his whip & the Lion jumps up & down. Considering the age of this charming & entertaining toy it is in excellent working condition.
