    Date: 1680 – 1700

    Two Dutch Delft blue and white ‘lotus’ jars, in Chinese Ming Dynasty style. Egg-shaped, on a flat base, decorated to the exterior in a soft cobalt blue on white tin-glazed ground with stylized flowering lotus stems with curling foliage.

    Both jars are in wonderful condition.
    The left one has a small U-shaped crack in the top rim. Height 25,5cm (10'')
    The right one with a glued shard from the top rim. Height 26cm (10.2'')
    All to be expected for their age.

    The one jar is slightly larger than the other 0.5cm. (0.2''')
