A large unique, Swedish mid-century organic form ceramic vase by Danish artist Vilhelm Bjerke Petersen. The vase features surrealist imagery hand painted by Petersen on an asymmetrical form. Vase is signed and dated "54" and "unik".

Petersen studied under artists Paul Klee and Wassily Kandinsky at Bauhaus Dessau from 1930 to 1931.
