Carl Auböck Mid-Century Coat Rack Beech Wardrobe with 7 Brass Hooks, 1950s
-
Description
An elegant modernist wall-mounted coat rack from the 1950s. An original and old vintage object, designed and executed by the Austrian architect and designer Carl Auböck. The frame is made of beechwood and is equipped with seven lovely patinated „G-shaped“ solid brass / bronze hooks, which, we think, are the most beautiful ones. They can be positioned randomly on the rows. In very good condition with nice patina. Please notice, that the two lower slats are marginally bent. This should not be considered as a defect or damage, more as a charming sign of age, as wood is a working and living material.
