A very exceptional and beautiful Minimalist Mid-Century Modern chess game, model #5606, designed by Carl Aubock III in 1969. Executed by Werkstätte Auböck in Vienna / Austria. The chess men /chess pieces are handcrafted of nickel-plated and black-finished solid cast-iron. The chessboard / checkerboard is also handmade of black and white leather. In excellent condition. One of the most beautiful chess games we know.

Measure: Height of the biggest chessman: 3"/7,5 cm.
