Edwardian Regency sterling silver inkstand. Made by William Comyns in London in 1905. Serpentine with splayed corner bracket supports; applied ribboned garland and trophies. Bellied bowl with leaf-capped sided handles and hinged and domed cover with vasiform finial mounted to raised and reeded oval center with applied Classical figures engaged in symbolic act. Fully marked. Very good condition.
