Description
Wurlitzer Juke Box Model 700 Original and Restored Art Deco Circa 1940
Item #3572
Wurlitzer 700 was a design masterpiece by Paul Fuller, its smooth art deco lines have stood the test of time, and it is a beautiful creation. This model plays 78-style records and the mechanism and sound are great. It holds 24 records in re-chromed plates plus the tone arm which helps to give this model just a little more pozazz without having the typical Wurlitzer bubbles. The colors are great and the plastics (or Catalin) are in nice shape with one small and restored crack in the left pilaster (photos enclosed). It’s all original.
This machine has been gone through completely, the amp, lights, function, and sound are working perfectly. There is an electronic record selector on the back so you do not have to put in money to play this machine. The original 78′s sound just right and there are many of these available. We will of course ship it full with all 24 78 ‘s records. The inside of the top cabinet is clean and sharp. We’ve changed all the light bulbs to low-watt LED lights which work at a much cooler rate so there are no heat issues or additional deterioration of the plastics.
