Arthur Espenet Carpenter Exotic Walnut Box, 1961
A finely crafted wooden box by celebrated California studio furniture maker Arthur Espenet Carpenter, dated 1961. Made from richly figured exotic walnut, the box features precise box joints, a solid brass hinge with clip, and a felt-lined interior bottom. Its low, elegant profile and refined construction exemplify Espenet’s mastery of material and form.
Signed Espenet '61 on the underside.
