Description
Andy Warhol was a prominent American artist who was a leading figure in the Pop Art movement. His work explored themes of consumerism, celebrity, and mass production, often using techniques like screen printing to create multiples of iconic images. He was also a filmmaker, writer, and publisher, known for his "Factory" studio where he created art and hosted a vibrant social scene.
Warhol's work gained prominence in the 1960s with his paintings of everyday objects like Campbell's soup cans and Coca-Cola bottles, as well as portraits of celebrities like Marilyn Monroe.
Here we have this beautiful multi- colored round rug from the Warhol Home Collection, designed in 1987 and produced by Sphinx.
Labeled on the back.
