Description
In the uniquely characteristic Joshagan style, but in a rare format, with a cerulean field supporting a navy sub-field, both with uniformly lozengoidal weeping willows, floret arrays and cruciform motives. Central ivory medallion with internal floret fringe. Cream main border with square palmettes and right-angle bent leaves. Medium urban Central Persian weaver. Good condition.
