From the 1880s period of the Great Persian Carpet Revival this urban fine weave central Iranian scatter employs Manchester-spun wool to create a velvety surface while laid out in a classic medallion and corners protocol . Slate ground tall central slightly lobed and pointed cream medallion rust-pink corners. Slate border with octogrammes rosette arrays and rosette accented trays. Slight wear but good condition for the type. Cotton foundation.
