Antique Persian Tabriz Beige and Rosewood Handwoven Wool Rug

$ 50,000
  • Description
    Meticulously hand-woven of the finest wool in accordance with centuries-old techniques, this antique Tabriz rug is a paragon of refined Persian craftsmanship. Its soft and firm body carries a classic Tabriz design deprived of a central medallion but adorned with a botanical lattice with stylized foliage and palmettes instead. This thriving composition is enclosed within a series of ornamental borders kept in the spirit of the main field thanks to further floral motifs and Shah Abbas. Everything is executed in a timeless color palette of blue complemented by beige and rosewood. Despite being almost one hundred years old, the antique carpet is distinguished by impeccable condition which is the best proof of its quality. If given a chance, this antique Persian rug will bring a breath of exotic elegance into any modern space.

    Doris Leslie Blau has always tried to bring the charm enclosed in antique, Persian rugs closer to people, closer to you.
