This stunning antique Turkish rug was hand woven in the mid 19th century, circa 1860. Just a glance is enough to see how much detail was put into this wonderful composition, undoubtedly made by an extremely talented artist. The rug features an allover pattern of delicate flowers, which makes it look almost like a meadow of sorts. The color palette accompanying the design is very balanced in order not to overwhelm it. Warm shades of sandy beige mix with chocolate and caramel browns in a delightful composition, bound to charm even the most demanding connoisseurs.
