Description
A rare and remarkable rug, hand made in the 1920s. It is in excellent condition, consistent with age and wear. The rug displays a stylized trees and vines in shades of beige and orange on a green background. Charles Francis Annesley Voysey (1857 – 1941) was an Irish architect and furniture, rugs, and textile designer in the Arts & Crafts style.
