Made around 1910 in the city of Sultanabad in Iran, this stunning antique area rugs is everything a stylish home could ask for. The carpet is made of the highest quality Iranian wool by a skilled artisan which makes it not only soft to touch, but also extremely durable. Despite being over hundred years old, the color palette of this Persian rugi s as beautiful as in the day it was dyed. A delightful composition of elegant browns and grays like this will easily fit into a number of different styles, from modern to classic. Although Sultanabad rugs share some similarities with Heriz and Serapi carpets, this particular piece sports a very original pattern. Contrary to a popular design, this carpet has not one, but two central medallions, accompanied by an elegant floral motif, present also on the carpet's border.
