The antique Persian Tabriz rug shown above features a paisley pattern on a grid of alternating rosettes and palmettes. The colors of this piece are particularly striking. We see a clearly defined blue border with grey undertones, serving to accentuate a blue architectural pattern winding its way through the design of this antique Persian Tabriz rug. The paisley pattern itself is brown against the beige color of the main field. The main border is adorned with a repeating motif of a rosette enclosed within two acanthus leaves. This antique rug is handmade out of high-quality wool.
