This vintage Chinese area rug dates back to circa 1950 and is a representative of the Chinese Deco style – an offshoot of the European Art Deco that blossomed in China. The rug features a central medallion with stylised florals enclosed with three borders decorated with floral elements. The rug is rendered in beige, blue and burgundy.
