    A rare and remarkable Donegal by C.F.A. Voysey fragment rug, hand made in the 1880s. It is in excellent condition, consistent with age and wear. It displays in the middle, a large blooming tree with two tulips next to it creating a picturesque composition on a saturated green background. The rug is colored in green, light purple, blue and red. Charles Francis Annesley Voysey (1857 – 1941) was an Irish architect and furniture, rugs, and textile designer in the Arts & Crafts style.
