Description
This contemporary rug was carefully hand-knotted of the finest silk and wool in accordance with traditional techniques by a skilled artisan. Such an execution provided not only pleasurable texture but also firm and dependable structure. If properly maintained, this contemporary rug will withstand years of usage without the slightest signs of wear. In terms of design, this contemporary rug is as far from the aesthetics of antiquity as possible. It belongs to the category of solid rugs, neutral in color and patternless. The only ornament is a delicate striation executed in two shade of beige. Such a minimalistic form is predestined to complement absolutely all kinds of décor, optically enlarging the space and creating an ideal backdrop for other, more saturated shades that may appear. This exceptional contemporary rug exudes the aura of futurism and elegance. Doris Leslie Blau carries an exceptional collection of original modern rugs in many styles and materials. Contemporary hand-made rugs are a bridge throughout history, they are the fruit of the constant evolution of the weaving craft that has accompanied men since the dawn of civilization.
