Description
Who has not heard of Moroccan rugs ? Widely known for their effortless elegance, they are sought after by both interior designers and art collectors - looking at this exquisite modern carpet pattern it is easy to understand why. Hand woven using the best quality wool, it boast a fascinating yet very simple pattern. Diamonds sprawled across the pile were purposely left uneven to pay homage to traditional Moroccan designs, which rarely conform to the common beauty standards. The color palette might be modest, but the beiges picked for it have wonderful luster to them, which certainly helps to highlight the minimalistic beauty of this piece. Reproduction carpets are always an alternative for several reasons. Reproduction Moroccan design rugs are beautiful as well as durable being they can be custom ordered or purchased from stock in various colors, qualities and techniques to capture the history behind the design. Moroccan rugs, in their variety of textures, colors, and designs have stood the test of time. They are a classic staple in both classic and modern interiors. Our modern Moroccan rugs are handmade by artisans in small, specialized workshops, following the centuries-old tradition. They are handmade of natural undyed wool or of wool colored with natural dyes. Their designs are either of vintage tribal inspiration or traditional with an original twist, designs exclusive to Doris Leslie Blau.
