Description
This monumental modern rug, although presently made, relies on traditional manual workmanship and equally classic design inspired with antique rugs yet adjusted to the contemporary decorating standards. The imposing piece was entirely knotted by hand of the finest wool by a prolific artisan in Tibet. Due to such thorough making its pile is soft and dense while its structure distinguishes itself with resilience and durability. If properly maintained, the European-inspired Tibetan rug will flawlessly serve its owners for generations, bringing in a touch of timeless beauty. Speaking of beauty, the face of the contemporary carpet carries an allover pattern of architectural motifs with floral undertones that enchants with refinement but does not overwhelm. The design brings to mind classicistic aesthetics, widely applied in antique European carpets. The color palette exhibits cold elegance, featuring the range of bluish grays with outlines of motifs done in black. Sophisticated and balanced, this Tibetan rug will have a chance to embellish a wide gamut of interior décors, from classic to state-of-the-art. New, modern and custom rugs by Doris Leslie Blau are all about quality and timelessness. We are dedicated to providing only top-notch products that will satisfy even the most demanding of customers. Our main goal is your satisfaction so we will assist you in every stage of your purchase. Trust us and find out for yourself. Doris Leslie Blau carries an exceptional collection of original modern rugs in many styles and materials. Contemporary hand-made rugs are a bridge throughout history, they are the fruit of the constant evolution of the weaving craft that has accompanied men since the dawn of civilization.
