At first glance, one could think that this modern stair carpet must be a priceless antique. Indeed, the wonderful craftsmanship of its weaver allowed to create a masterpiece which draws inspiration from sought-after Oriental beautiful rugs. Made of quality wool and carefully hand-knotted, the traditional carpet sports a gentle palette of very light beiges, blues and reds, which bring out golden undertones of the pile. The pattern itself invokes its traditional counterparts. While the weaver was inspired by traditional Oriental solutions, he or she decided to use a traditionally Western composition, displaying one of the most charming Seasons: Fall. Rows of oak leaves in various colors immediately make you think of a walk in the woods during a warm afternoon. The design's frame is as elaborate as its main part - twisted lines, tangled together remind of leafless vines once full of sweet berries.
