Description
Floral rugs exist probably as long as the very craft of carpet-making. It would not be an exaggeration to state that nature is the finest source of inspiration of all. While making modern and custom rugs, at DLB we paid deepest respect to the centuries-old weaving traditions, at the same time considering the reality of the ever-changing world and gazing towards the future. The marvelous modern rug before you is a fruit of our conscious approach to production. S10 Tibetan rug can boast of impeccable workmanship. It was carefully hand-woven of top-notch wool and silk by a skilled Tibetan artisan. Thanks to such thorough execution, its structure is resilient and durable while its pile soft and luminous. If maintained properly, the contemporary carpet will withstand years of usage looking as if it just came down from the looms. Design-wise, this modern rug is equally timeless. Its allover dense botanical pattern of meandering stylized acanthus leaves and florals oozes elegance and dignity. The color palette of utterly chic hunter green and beige with golden undertones has a royal-like quality to it, ready to embellish a wide variety of interior arrangements, from classic to state-of-the-art. Doris Leslie Blau carries an exceptional collection of original modern rugs in many styles and materials. Contemporary hand-made rugs are a bridge throughout history, they are the fruit of the constant evolution of the weaving craft that has accompanied men since the dawn of civilization.
