Description
This marvelous runner is the perfect merger of past and present. Its design was inspired by traditional rug art but slightly adjusted to contemporary decorating trends. The curvilinear, hooked vines and double dots were rendered in a chocolate brown shade and placed against a washed-out taupe background which discretely exposes even more delicate oriental motifs. This tasteful composition is absolutely unobtrusive and versatile, perfect for all kinds of interior arrangements, from classic to modern. The rug was thoroughly hand-crafted of the finest wool in accordance with old and refined weaving techniques by a skilled artisan. Such meticulous making makes it not only unique but, most importantly, durable and ready to serve its owners for many decades without any signs of wear or damage. Runners are created especially for staircases, corridors, halls and transitional rooms and the one before your eyes will be ideal for all. It is the option for design aficionados and lovers of subtle beauty alike. Doris Leslie Blau carries an exceptional collection of original modern rugs in many styles and materials. Contemporary hand-made rugs are a bridge throughout history, they are the fruit of the constant evolution of the weaving craft that has accompanied men since the dawn of civilization.
