    This antique Handwoven Chinese rug has a field with a central rectangular panel, the lower section with a bright orange-red part lozenge interlocking design with a central aubergine-purple pole with a stylized dragon climbing upwards, the above panel with a moss-green field and a light-yellow linked lozenge enclosing a blue cloud motif with a furious fighting dragon, in a band of blackcurrant-red, navy-blue and moss-green linked cloud motifs, the border with bold polychrome zig-zag stripes, a tomato-red panel in each corner.
