Description
Doris Leslie Blau’s impressive collection of antique rugs, which includes rare Turkish, Persian and Indian masterpieces, is the envy of many rug aficionados. Some of our antique Indian rugs are so rare that no more than a few exist in the entire world. Still, we do our best to constantly improve in order to ensure the satisfaction of our loyal clientele. Nothing makes us happier than the knowledge that our hard work is appreciated by both our clients and countless interior design magazines, such as Architectural Digest.
This unique North Indian carpet was hand woven in the early 20th century, circa 1920. Cotton used to make it is of the highest quality, which ensured both its mint condition and the vibrancy of color palette. The pattern features a field of dense herati design within an elegant palmette and flowering vinery trellis border. The colors of this antique Indian rug are mostly cool shades of red, beige, gray and blue, a perfect combination for any rug!
The size of Indian rug, 12'2" × 25'0" (371 × 762 cm), is a perfect fit for spacious interiors, which need a little bit of timeless elegance. We would like to encourage you to browse through Doris Leslie Blau's grand collection of high quality antique rugs. Who knows what kind of treasures will you find there? -
