Description
This spellbinding antique Kerman carpet (also known as Kirman) makes the rich artistic traditions and the venerable history of Persian culture come alive. It was thoroughly crafted by the hands of master weavers from the iconic Kerman province of the finest wool in old and refined techniques which in itself constitutes its quality.
The vast pale peach field proudly bears an overall design of scattered mille-fleur and foliage around spacious rows of vase motifs and palmettes accented with more pronounced touches of aquamarine. This incredible abundance of patterns is enclosed within a series of equally compelling borders with predominance of aquamarine tones. The entire composition captures the unique and timeless spirit of veritable and exudes a soothing yet unmistakably royal vibe.
Such intricate and detailed design could have been achieved only due to the high knot density which at the same time is a guarantee of the Persian rug’s durability. Just as it has survived until this day in perfect condition, the piece will surely serve its owners for generations without any signs of blemish. Once placed in an interior, this palatial Kirman rug will fill the space with its incredible energy and palatial glamour. It is an option for all lovers of timeless chic and timeless elegance. -
