Large Arts & Crafts Rug by Gavin Morton

$ 60,000
  • Description
    This masterful Gavin Morton antique rug represents everything what Arts and Crafts rugs movement stood for. Its anti-industrial feel is expressed through the craftsmanship of the hand-knotted weave, soft qualitative wool and nature-inspired design. Intricate but perfectly balanced pattern is far from being overabundant. This Arts and crafts vintage carpet draws from Japanese aesthetics, comprising the motifs of lotus flowers and cherry tree blossoms. The whole is emphasized by a warm color palette, featuring coral, beige, blue, green and purple. This unique composition, when placed in an interior, will fill the space with joy and beauty.
