Description
VIA COSMICA is a magic rug or tapestry, hand-tufted by the artist couple Las Ánimas, from Seville, Spain. It is a map. A trip. A break between space and time. A world of colour and volume created with wool where geometric shapes become hypnotic and enveloping. An invitation to go beyond what is perceptible to the naked eye and trigger the memory of collective memory.
The creative universe of Las Ánimas starts from and seeks to make the mind wander, as an altered vision of reality, created through a language of minimalist, geometric and iterative patterns; to develop an iconography of retro-futuristic, transgressive, ceremonial and deeply evocative aesthetics through experimentation with different materials, shapes and textures.
We work on bespoke designs and sizes, please inquire. -
