This Bidjar rug has a shaded indigo-blue field with an overall design of bold light blue scrolling vines forming a lattice enclosing polychrome palmettes and flowering stems surrounding a central column of bold dusty-pink and ivory palmettes surrounded by a dense profusion of flowering stems together with sandy-yellow and dusty-pink bands of bold stylized flowerheads, in an ivory border of polychrome palmettes linked by delicate scrolling and floral vine between terracotta-red floral vine stripes.
