While minimalistic, this vintage Indian dhurrie rug still manages to draw the attention with its beautiful craftsmanship and clever design. Woven by hand circa 1950, the carpet features a rather simple pattern , which will certainly fit many different types of interiors. Horizontal stripes of varying width run through the pile freely, although they seem to huddle closer together in the middle. The color palette accompanying this pattern is not only elegant, but also surprisingly warm - shades of brown and beige are contrasted with cool blue creating a delightful mix.
