Authentic Persian Kirman Botanic Handmade Wool Rug

$ 70,000
  • Description
    Among all types of antique Persian rugs Kirmans are especially well known due to their stunning designs and astonishing quality. This piece, woven with care circa 1900, immediately catches attention with its interesting pattern. Contrary to classic Persian design, this rug lack a central medallion, which was replaced with an all over Moroccan clover pattern. However, a closer look reveals that each element of this compositions contains a delightful surprise – smaller floral motifs. Flowers and trees come together in this stunning display worthy of a king. Pattern on the frame surrounding the design is much more modest, but it does not mean that it is any less beautiful. Delicate elements perfectly balance out the opulence of central field, resulting in a carpet that anyone would love to own. Deep earthy tones of the color palette help to highlight the complexity of this piece, making it a true feast for the eyes.
