Description
This silk Hereke rug has an ivory field with a scrolling palmette and floral vine, cusped light blue mihrab arch above containing scrolling arabesque vine, the light blue spandrels similar, in broad brick-red border of meandering palmette split palmette vine enclosing a flowerhead between sandy-yellow floral vine stripes, an inner ivory similar and a plain outer ivory stripe.
