This Swedish rug was inspired by the works of the Grand Dame of Scandinavian rug design – Marta Maas-Fjetterstrom. Its main field carries an allover grid of serrated diamonds within diamonds and star motifs. This energizing pattern is embraced by a border also adorned with diamond motifs. The color palette combines gold, green and beige. The composition is finished with a fringe at the shorter edges of the rug. The rug was carefully hand-woven of high-quality wool in accordance with traditional techniques. Due to such an execution, it is unique and durable.
